The Numerical Solution of Large-Scale Generalized Eigenvalue Problems Arising from Finite-Element Modeling of Electroelastic Materials

چکیده

The generalized eigenvalue problem for a symmetric definite matrix pencil obtained from finite-element modeling of electroelastic materials is solved numerically by the Lanczos algorithm. mass singular in considered problem, and therefore process proceeds with semi-inner product defined this matrix. shift-and-invert algorithm used to find multiple eigenvalues closest some shift corresponding eigenvectors. results numerical experiments are presented.
